Vintage Christmas

I had meeting with my lovely Technique Club girls last night. Each month for the last 8 months we have been learning a different technique. This month it was Cracked Glass.

This is a simple but very effective technique using layers of embossing powder that when cooled are cracked (like glass...wonder where the name comes from lol).

Here is a more detailed picture of the image...see the little cracks. It looks really effective in person.

The set we used is Good Cheer from the Spring Mini Catalogue (available until the end of November). The gorgeous striped ribbon is also from the Mini catalogue and will be gone at the end of the month too so if you would like to get your hands on some best place your order soon.

My little man is one!!

Look at this gorgeous face..doesn't it melt your heart.

I can't believe Sam is one. This year has just flown by. He is such a happy contented baby (or boy now...boo hoo). He really is such a joy and everyone just adores him.



And yes he is getting a bit cheeky ...check out that grin. Mischief is his middle name.




And Sam and Mummy with his cupcake..(mummy only does black and white lol).

We took the boys to Anzac Park for a play and cupcakes to celebrate his birthday on Sunday. No big deal... just fun with his brothers and he loved it. I hope he stays so easily pleased.

There are so many gorgeous samples that sometimes the hardest decision is which project to copy.

My "So Kind" card is a CASE of the card featured on page 92 of the catalogue. I have reproduced the card exactly but this card would look great in different colour combinations too.
